Tally POV

Tally's point-of-view.

Model DGA: Digital Generator of Activity, renamed to Tally, is a villain in Mario Mayhem.

Appearance[]

Tally looks like a gray-scale version of Mario. They have metal overalls, with one button longer than the other. Prior to their escape, they also had a Mario-esque head, but they tore it off and replaced it with a television screen. Their new head has antennae, and the right one is partially broken off, with a red, blue, and green wire exposed. The screen can show various things, and most commonly shows a pair of eyes. Occasionally, the screen goes to static.

Tally's point-of-view has a red tint, with the words "MODEL_DGA_SYSTEM_VIEW" near the top, and a text output at the bottom.

History[]

Tally is a failed experiment created by E Gadd, who wanted to make a robot Mario, but after a disaster Tally went from a hero to a vicious demon. Tally resides in the Dead Forest, so-named because they killed everything inside it, and will hunt anyone who enters, but since Tally is a robot, they are not waterproof and cannot leave the forest. Still, they are often searching for new victims.

In Super Mario: Beyond The Bounds[]

Tally appears in DEATH'S DEMISE in a short. They are seen eavesdropping on a conversation between MX and The Otherworld, who are looking around the forest. Tally eavesdrops, but MX hears Tally. Tally sprints away, running for their life, but Codename throws their Polygo Hammer at Tally, which hits and freezes them. Tally is cloned, his clone being an Otherworld minion using up the real Tally's power, falling under the control of Codename 3 and being used in their plan.

During his Otherworld Clone's appearances, Tally is partially connected to the clone's signal, with small pieces of texts telling Mario to run.

In Mario VS The Otherworld, Tally appears in the machine Codename 3 built in the Multiverse Hub. When breaking out, he is reconnected and fights alongside the heroes (as there is a greater threat), after the fight is complete and everybody exits the Multiverse Hub, Tally escapes once Cherry points out he helped them.

  • Unfair Mario's Cap: After the defeat of Codename 3, Tally stole Unfair Mario's cap to protect him from the rain, as he is not waterproof. Unfair Mario didn't seem to mind.
