King Dedede is one of the 4 main characters of the Kirby series. His first appearance in Waddle Dee Delight was Clobbering Dat Dair Kerby, where he tries to defeat Kirb using a monster summoned by Sans. Afterwards, he had a very long absence from the series. He then appeared again in Slaverdee, where it is revealed that he had taken over Dream Land while the heroes were participating in SOOS. In the episode, he tries to force Bandana Dee to become his slave alongside his other Waddle Dees, but the Kirbies come and save him.

- King Dedede appeared in the Waddle Dee Delight series (Clobbering Dat Dair Kerby), along with Kirb, before Kirby did.
